We are a bit behind due to a computer crash, but here are some highlights from week 1 and 2. This was originally written on August 16th:

All is going well so far. We have survived the first dr visits, first bath and first few cases of diapers/nappies. Sleep deprivation arrived, but is not so severe as expected. Tonight we get to have our first date, thanks to a visit from Grandmama & Pop Pop.

Close Call Sledding

Yesterday, after brunch for my brother Kevin's wedding, my sister Kelsey decided to buy a sled and go sledding on a steep hill outside my parents condo.

First, she gets ready --->

Then we can see the video where she almosts hits a car at the bottom of the hill:

Her friend Greg was not so lucky.  After telling Kelsey he thought the hill was too steep, she convinced him to go down anyway.  I missed it, but apparently he ended up jumping the SUV and landing in the street.  He walked away mostly unharmed, but OUCH!
